Philip Dubey started collecting Chinese Export Porcelain when he was in High School and, yes, frankly his parents were concerned.  This passion continues to this day.  In 1989 Phil ‘retired’ from a successful career working in Human Resources to open Dubey’s Art & Antiques, Inc. on historic Antique Row in Baltimore with 900 square feet of showroom space.  Over the years the space has grown to 3,000 square feet with an emphasis in Chinese Export Porcelain and early American furniture.  Phil has become an advocate for Antique Row and the Mt. Vernon Cultural Arts District.  He often lectures at civic organizations, local colleges & universities, Mt. Clare Historical Site, and Mt. Vernon Club.  Another milestone for Phil and Antique Row happened in October 2004—Phil opened Antique Row Stalls, LLC, a multi-dealer cooperative occupying a 10,000 square foot building next door to his original shop.  Dubey’s Art & Antiques and Antique Row Stalls have been featured in articles run by the Baltimore Sun, Washington Post and New York Times.  Phil annually exhibits in Charlottesville and Alexandria, Virginia.  This is his first year showing at Easton.
